Complete enquiry pack

Give Lancing enough evidence to recommend and trial the right case taper.

A clear enquiry reduces assumptions and makes quotations easier to compare. Unknown values can be marked for site measurement or sample testing rather than guessed.

Representative sample set

Send the smallest, largest, most common, heaviest and least stable filled cartons where practical. If product cannot be supplied, use a safe substitute that reproduces the filled weight and distribution, clearly labelled as a trial load. Include the actual tape intended for production.

Output evidence

State cases per normal shift and peak period, but also provide a short time study of the complete cycle. Separate packing time from flap folding, sealing, labelling and removal. For an inline system, show case spacing and what controls release cartons into the sealer.

Acceptance criteria

Agree which carton formats will be witnessed, the sequence, seal-quality checks, changeover method, outfeed transfer and operator instruction. If a numerical output is required, define the test conditions and duration so every quotation is evaluated on the same basis.

Support scope

Confirm whether the quotation should include delivery, positioning, installation, commissioning, operator handover, recommended spares or planned service. Do not assume these items are included unless they are stated.
